90 Minutes Or Less Film Fest

The Nightmare Before Christmas with Tuppence Middleton

Listen on

Episode notes

Sam Clements is curating a fictional film festival. He'll accept almost anything, but the movie must not be longer than 90 minutes. This is the 90 Minutes Or Less Film Fest podcast.

In episode 53 Sam is joined by actor Tuppence Middleton, who has recently starred in David Fincher's Mank and Brandon Cronenberg's Possessor.

Tuppence has chosen The Nightmare Before Christmas (76 minutes), directed by Henry Selick. Disney's classic stop motion animated musical started life as an idea by Tim Burton and stars Catherine O'Hara, Danny Elfman and Chris Sarandon.

Sam and Tuppence discuss working with David Fincher and Gary Oldman on Mank, why The Nightmare Before Christmas is an annual watch and what a fantastic singing voice Catherine O'Hara has!

Mank is available on Netflix and Possessor is available to purchase / rent on all good streaming service.
