Episode notes

The OneFootball podcast returns once again to take a look at women’s football across Europe.

This week Angelina Kelly is joined by Alejandro Diago and Her Football Hub's Jay Lewis.

First up it's the FA Women's League Cup Final which saw Chelsea get a 6-0 victory over Bristol City. The six goals included a hat-trick from Sam Kerr leading the panel to question just how long Chelsea can hold onto the player and with Fran Kirby playing a role in all six goals, is it just a matter of time before she is considered a contender for the Women's Ballon d'Or?

Over in Spain and after a tough few weeks for Atlético Madrid things went from bad to worse as they were defeated 1-0 by Real Madrid in El Derbi Madrileño. With Real now sitting in the third spot, can fans begin celebrating finishing the season with a Champions League qualification place?

Then to France and despite a disappointing loss for Bordeaux against Paris FC, there was a lot of praise for Jamaican footballer Khadija Shaw who is currently the top goalscorer in the Division 1 Féminine.

And finally this week's hot topic is the Champions League. With the quarter-final fixtures on the horizon, the panel give their predictions and discuss the upcoming games which include Barcelona vs. Manchester City and PSG vs. Lyon.
