Episode notes

The OneFootball podcast returns once again to take a look at women’s football.

This week Angelina Kelly is joined by Alejandro Diago and Emily Wilson.

First up and the panel discuss the Women's Super League including Manchester City's loss to Spurs, whether the Blues can bounce back from the defeat, and if we are finally seeing a new and improved Tottenham team.

Next and over in Spain El Derbi Madrileño took place as Atlético Madrid silenced Real Madrid with a 2-0 victory. It hasn't been the best start to the Primera División season for Real Madrid and the panel discuss what the team need to do ahead of their next fixture.

In addition, there is discussion over the National Women's Soccer League over in the USA. As Portland Thorns look to give their manager Mark Parsons a good send off by winning the league, will they be able to pull it off? Meanwhile OL Reign managed to take three points from Washington Spirit after the team forfeited the game, and as they sit in second position, could Reign challenge Thorns for the title that they are so desperate to win?

Finally, the panel discuss last week's Champions League qualifying games including the Levante and Manchester City's exit, and with the groups for the competition now announced there is also an in-depth look at each group alongside some predictions!
